The Challenge

A fast-food restaurant chain sought to increase the overall attractiveness of its menu and drive new customer acquisition by introducing additional menu items. Achieving this objective required a data-driven approach to identify the most appealing options.

The Approach

Numerious conducted a MaxDiff study to assess the relative appeal of each potential menu item. The results were then inputted into a TURF (Total Unduplicated Reach and Frequency) simulator, ensuring that the chosen items would resonate with the widest possible audience, maximizing their reach.

With these insights, the restaurant chain confidently introduced new menu items tailored to customer preferences. Future iterations of the simulator even incorporated ingredient data, enabling the chain to minimize stocking requirements while maintaining menu appeal.
